Memory Thread

About

The shortest path can  appear to be the greatest journey. Memory Thread is a reflection on time spent with my grandmother, a dressmaker, and the impact her teachings would have on my own creative approach as a designer. A journey through the experience of knowledge passed down and the reflective process of recalling a lesson contained within a memory. The environment itself contains six points of interaction, each one is relative to the other. The player guided through the environment by narrow pathways and soft lighting, with some opportunity to navigate freely around the landscape. The environment is set in a foggy and mostly monochromatic colour scheme as to emulate the feeling of exploring a memory or recalling back time.
